En 2008 fueron recogidos de las calles 118.200 perros y 38.600 gatos

PRINCIPALES MOTIVOS DEL ABANDONO :

• Falta de interés por el animal.
• Problemas de aletgia por parte de algún miembro de la familia.
• Nacimiento de un hijo.
• Cambio a un piso más pequeño.
• Problemas de comportamiento del animal.
• Fallecimiento del propietario.

REASONS THAT PEOPLE GIVE TO ABANDON ANIMALS:

• Allergy of some member of the family
• Birth
• Moving to a smaller flat
• Animal behavior problems
• Death of the owner
